Golden Latte recipe

The original recipe of the “Golden Latte”: healthy, calming and so delicious!

Even in ancient India, mothers have given turmeric-enriched milk to their children. It can help relieve colds and pains and has a relaxing effect on the body and mind.

This is especially due to the analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of the turmeric root. When mixed with the right spices, milk is also ideal against free radicals in the body.

The original recipe goes like this:

  • Heat 230 ml of milk (cow/ almond/ rice milk).
  • ⅓ tbsp turmeric, 1 cinnamon stick, a pinch of saffron, ½ tsp Jaggery (jaggery) and 1-2
  • Add TL Ghee
  • Take a break and enjoy in peace.

Influence on Dosha: Milk increases Kapha, while turmeric Kapha has a reducing effect.

This interaction makes the Golden Latte an absolutely relaxing drink (ideally at bedtime) for every constitution.

Note: There are many recipes on the Internet with very different spices.
